Rock wool ceiling panel with 4 peaks PR-4T 39/333 MW

  • The fire-resistant wall cladding panels are composite self-supporting structural elements consisting of two profiled steel sheets, with rock wool of 100 kg/m³ density placed in between. The thermal insulating rock wool panels have male/female side joints, allowing them to interlock with each other. They are securely connected both to one another and to the load-bearing structure, with particular care taken to ensure compliance with essential insulation requirements (eliminating thermal bridges) and allowing for easy disassembly in case of repairs. They are manufactured in accordance with the EN 14509:2013 standard and bear the CE marking.

Rock Wool Insulating Panels

Rock wool insulating panels are applied in the cladding of shelters, both in vertical installation, offering high fire resistance, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and absolute waterproofing. They are absolutely suitable for the construction of fire compartments. They are used for the cladding of shelters with thermal insulation requirements and high demands for fire resistance and sound insulation. They consist of metal sheets and a rock wool core with fire resistance ratings from 30 minutes to 120 minutes.

Technical Characteristics:

Insulation of Rock Wool Panels:

Rock wool is produced from mineral rocks and is a natural inorganic fibrous insulating material, internationally recognized for its thermal and sound insulating properties, as well as for its excellent behavior at high temperatures and fire. Domolam thermal insulating panels produced with rock wool have a fire reaction of A2s1d0 according to EN 13501-1, EN ISO 1716, and EN 13823. Wall panels (vertical arrangement - EN 1364-1) and roof panels (horizontal arrangement - EN 1365) have fire resistance as shown in the above table, according to EN 13501-2. They also have low water permeability and air permeability indices, while providing a high sound absorption coefficient.

Thermal Conductivity Coefficient: λ = 0.033 W/mK and average density 100±5 Kg/m³, according to EN 13162.

Average Compressive Strength: 60 KPa.

Average Tensile Strength: 50 KPa.

Average Shear Strength: 50 KPa.

The metal sheets of the panels are:

  • Pre-painted sheets, in compliance with EN 10169 on galvanized or aluzinc base with yield strength of 250-320 N/mm² according to EN 10346 and EN 10143.

  • Plastic-coated - antibacterial sheets for cold rooms and sanitary applications.

  • Pre-painted, smooth or embossed aluminum, copper, and stainless steel upon request.

Joint Tightness:

  • Water Tightness: Class A, EN 12865

  • Air Tightness: 0.14 m³/m²/h at 50 Pa, EN 12114

Dimensional Tolerances of Panels according to Annex D of EN 14509:

  • Rib Height: ±1mm

  • Rib Pitch: ±2mm

  • Panel Length: ±10mm

  • Panel Thickness: ±2% of thickness

  • Squareness: 0.6% of effective width

  • Longitudinal Bow: 2 mm/m - 10 mm

  • Transverse Bow: ≤1% of width

  • Flatness: ≤-1.5mm at 700mm

  • Edge Waviness: ±2mm at 500mm length

  • Effective Width: ±2mm

Panel Profiling:

  • Cladding panels are externally mini Nevraturra and internally Classic in RAL 9002.

  • Interior panels are Classic on both sides.

Advantages of Oikiskos Roof Panels:

  1. Innovative connections ensure excellent waterproofing and airtightness.

  2. They feature special reinforcing shapes on the sides of the trapezoids for increased load resistance.

  3. Depending on their type, they can be combined with pioneering photovoltaic elements in the form of adhesive membranes.

  4. They are produced with an innovative overlapping design along their length.

Notes:

Minor wool traces at the joints, small wool gaps, or slight absence of wool sealant along the side do not constitute quality issues, provided the functional integrity of the panel remains unaffected.

Roof panels are used for external roofs, designed to meet various construction needs with high aesthetic value.

Unloading:
Bundles of long panels should be unloaded using slings or long straps. Pre-painted sheets should not be dragged against each other.

Storage:
Panels must be placed at a minimum 5% incline and covered in a way that allows ventilation, to prevent vapor condensation and electrochemical corrosion.

Installation:
After completion of installation, any protective film (if present) must be removed, and surfaces should be cleaned of cutting/drilling debris.
It is recommended to use at least two fasteners per sheet and batten. Screwing should stop as soon as the metal surface begins to deform, to maintain both aesthetic and structural performance.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by improper use of its products.
