Canopy With Support Columns width 3,00

The canopy, featuring a roof extension supported by columns, is an ideal solution for protecting the entrance and windows of the housing unit from weather conditions while also creating a semi-outdoor space with additional support and durability. The presence of columns enhances the stability and strength of the structure, making it suitable for areas with severe weather conditions such as strong winds or snowfall. Specifically, the columns allow for the safe support of wider canopies compared to those without, while also offering greater long-term durability.

We recommend ordering and constructing the canopy together with the oikiskos, but it can also be installed on an existing unit at a later stage.

Advantages of a Canopy with Columns:

  • Increased Durability: The columns provide greater support and resilience against adverse weather conditions such as strong winds or snowfall.

  • Stability: With columns, the canopy is more stable and secure for long-term use.

  • Larger Coverage Area: It can cover larger surfaces, offering shade and protection without limitations due to lack of support.

  • Weather Protection: It shields against rain and sun, enhancing comfort at the housing unit entrance while reducing water exposure on windows and doors.

  • Shading: Its opaque construction creates shade inside the housing unit, keeping the interior cooler.

  • Aesthetics: Despite the presence of columns, the design remains modern and functional, as the columns can be seamlessly integrated into the oikiskos aesthetics.

  • Longevity: The canopy is resistant to weather conditions and solar radiation and requires no maintenance.

Overall, it provides protection, shade, and aesthetic appeal while ensuring durability and long-term use.
