Patents & Intellectual Property: The right to manufacture this specific oikiskos has been granted to our company, and the cost of its procurement is included in the unit's value.

Oikiskos is an innovative invention and is protected by a patent. The intellectual property of the oikiskos products is registered with the Greek Organization of Industrial Property (OBI - GR) and the corresponding European organization (EUIPO- CD). Our company has secured the right to manufacture the unit products and the right to sell them, ensuring and safeguarding the buyer from any third-party claims that, according to patent laws, might arise from the use or disposal of the product delivered.

Construction Plan:

Choose between not required (default), or optionally required.

The construction plan is detailed and includes all necessary drawings, diagrams, and technical information for building the oikiskos.

It guides the designers and builders in the project implementation. It is drafted by a team of engineers, including an Architect, Civil Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer.

It helps designers obtain a building permit, minimizes errors during construction, and is useful for maintenance and future interventions.

Model:

Choose between Standard (default), or optionally Executive, Elegant, Premium & Limited.

Height:

Standard: external height 2.50 m and internal 2.27 m.

Optionally: High Cube with external height 3.00 m and internal 2.77 m.

Construction Type:

Default: fixed construction

Optionally:

modular construction, recommended when:

• You want to reduce the transport volume

• The installation area is difficult to access, or

• "You're handy, have time and willingness to handle the construction yourself and get your unit more affordably."

There are three types of modular constructions:

DIY Kit - Build it yourself, Type A, for experienced builders
The materials are raw (steel bars in 6m rods, panels uncut, the foundation in sheets, flooring in rolls, etc., including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical materials).

This is for those with experience in construction, who have the necessary equipment and know how to manage raw materials.

DIY Kit - Build it yourself, Type B, for intermediate builders
The materials are partially processed, meaning the steel bars are cut but not welded into frames & unpainted, the panels and foundation are cut to the correct dimensions, and the hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical materials are partially processed (e.g., the electrical panel is ready).

Ideal for those with basic experience with tools and construction, wishing to participate actively without starting from scratch.

DIY Kit - Build it yourself, Type C, for beginners
The materials are fully processed, and the construction is as assembled as possible.

This is aimed at individuals without significant experience in construction, but who want to work on a "build it yourself" project without the need for professional tools.

Foundation:

Default: No foundation, meaning you will arrange the means of support.

Optionally: Foundation with 5 reinforced concrete beams (C16/20) of 2.70 m in length.

Requires 1,5 hour of crane work.

Terms and conditions apply. Excavation is not included. The foundation is pre-manufactured.

Optionally: Foundation on reinforced concrete slab (C16/20) 2.00x2.00x0.12, reinforced with mesh

Choose the desired dimension (equal or greater than your unit's dimensions).

Includes:

• Employment of a surveyor engineer for slab marking and slopes.

• Employment of a Civil Engineer for supervision, coordination, and safety technicalities.

• Disposal of any debris to an approved recipient.

• On-site materials and labor for construction.

Excludes:

• Leveling or excavation.

• Layer of compacted gravel or sand (usually 10-15 cm) for improved strength and drainage.

• Movement of personnel for work.

• Accommodation of personnel if needed.

• Insourance for builders if the project is executed under a building permit.

• Shipping of materials to the project.

Electricity supply is required for the work. In case there is no network connection, a generator is available for an additional fee.

Material Lifting for Foundation Slab:

Material lifting during unloading can be done with a forklift or crane.

To calculate lifting power, multiply the weight of the unit by the placement distance.

If there are obstacles (trees, fences, or cables), a larger crane will be required.

If unsure, you can send us a small sketch and photos for us to calculate the lifting capacity required.

Requires an initial setup and 5 minutes of crane work per square meter of slab.

Foundation Installation:

The slab construction is carried out by two skilled workers.

2 days of work are required for slabs up to 15 m², with an additional day for every 15 m².

If the construction is on an island, additional products  "Personnel Transport by ship", "Car Transport by ship", και "Truck Transport by ship", must be added.

Unit Division:

Default: Oikiskos consists of 1 unit.

Optionally: Select division into multiple units if access is an issue.

Frame:

Default: Welded steel frame of high rigidity (default).

Optionally: Heavy or super-heavy type frame. (See Construction Method of frames.)

Steel (ELOT EN 10025): Hot-rolled steel strips in quality steel grades:

Galvanization of the Frame:

• Black (No coating)
• Galvanized (Hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion resistance according to ELOT EN 10240)

Paint:

Frame painted with one layer of polyurethane primer in white RAL 9002.

Suspension:

At least 4 suspension points.

Default suspension: Detachable suspension (the suspenders used for lifting are then detached and remain the property of the company).

Optionally: Permanent suspension.

Anchoring:

At least 10 anchoring points in white RAL 9002.

Roof Type:

Default: Horizontal roof

Optionally: Mono-pitched or Gabled.

Gutter:

default: Perimeter gutter 200x100x2 mm, with a perimeter overhang of 11 cm 

Optionally: Perimeter gutter with marquee 200+200x100x2 mm.

Energy Shielding (Walls & Roof):

Default:

• 40 mm shell panels, aluminum frames without thermal break & double thermal insulation glazing.

Optionally choose:

• Sandwich walling with 40 mm shell panels, melamine interior lining, and rock wool insulation (50 mm).

• Aluminum frames with thermal break & double thermal insulation glazing.

• 60 mm shell panels, aluminum frames with thermal break & double energy-efficient glazing.

• 100 mm shell panels, aluminum frames with thermal break & double energy-efficient glazing with argon.

Energy Shielding (Floor):

Default: No energy shielding for the floor.

Optionally:

• 40 mm floor panels.

• Galvanized sheet metal 0.5 mm with rock wool (50 mm) filling in the base frame.

Edge Covers:

Edge covers made of painted sheet metal on all external edges, colored according to the model.

IP:

Default IP rating: IP 23.

Optionally: IP 33, achieved by using foam tape in the joint between the panels and frame.

IK:

Default IK rating: IK 00.

Optionally: IK 01.

SubFlooring:

Standard: Marine plywood from oak or poplar, 18 mm thickness.

Optionally: Marine plywood from birch, 18 mm thickness.

Vapor barrier nylon sheet on the underside in any case.

Flooring:

Default: PVC flooring, 2.8 mm thick, without color preference, glued with strong magnetic glue, and metal skirting around the perimeter (20x20 mm).

Optionally:

• PVC flooring, 2.8 mm thick, without color preference, glued with strong magnetic glue, and metal skirting around the perimeter.

• PVC flooring, 2.4 mm thick, reinforced with film, glued with strong magnetic glue, and metal skirting around the perimeter.

Wiring in plastic channels.

Optionally:

• Full electrical installation with frame pre-drilling for future interior cladding of the unit, consisting of a single-phase panel with general switch, leakage relay, indicator light, one 10 A fuse for a lighting circuit, one 16 A fuse for a socket circuit, four LED ceiling lights, one single switche, and two power outlets. Wiring in plastic channels.

• Complete electrical installation, without frame pre-drilling, consisting of a three-phase panel with general switch, leakage relay, indicator light, two 10 A fuses for a lighting circuit, two 16 A fuses for a socket circuit, four LED ceiling lights, one single switche, and two power outlets. Wiring in plastic channels.

• Full electrical installation with frame pre-drilling, consisting of a three-phase panel with general switch, leakage relay, indicator light, two 10 A fuses for a lighting circuit, two 16 A fuses for a socket circuit, four LED ceiling lights, one single switche, and two power outlets. Rooms:

Default: Single-space cabin, No room.

Optional: Add 1 or 2 rooms

The cost of each room includes the construction of a wall made of 40 mm polyurethane panels, one aluminum interior door measuring 0.80x2.10 m, one aluminum window measuring 1.00x1.20 m, of the same type as the one previously selected for your cabin. Extension of the electrical installation includes one single switch, two power outlets, and one LED ceiling panel light.

Logos:

Default: Logos in sticker form on the panels and painted on the gutter on all sides of the container.

Oikiskos Transportation:

Oikiskos can be transported by special transport for unit width 3.0 m.

Transport is charged according to the length of the trailer that the base occupies (e.g. 3 m of truck for 3 m frame, etc.)

The cost of transport is automatically calculated at checkout or can be manually added by viewing  here where the technical support points are located, to additionally add an  oikiskos transportation service

Materials & Accesories Transportation:

The transport of materials can be done by curtain truck or conventional flatbed truck. (when can t be transported with oikiskos)

Lifting:

Lifting during unloading can be done with a forklift or truck-mounted crane.

Approximately 1 hour of work is required per 9 m² of oikiskos
